Happy Holydays

Hope everyone had a happy Blanketsgiving! Hope everybody's was the glorious blur of birds, potatoes, seasonal wines & ales, sundry experiments-turned-traditions and people you just don't see enough, which for me have come to characterize the holiday. No sir, it's one of the (few) holidays I see no need to revamp, reinvent, or destroy. Speaking of which, Optionmas post forthcoming.

Oh I was offended by Happy Holidays because I hate holidays and they offend me but then I see the "Thanksgiving" picture and I am doubly offended because I never thank anyone and I don't want to be shown fundamentalist thankfulness because it also goes against my beliefs.

Oh man, and then you light my hair on fire after stabbing me with those two offensive holidays because you call it "Blanketsgiving" and as you know, my cultural heritage forbids me from seeing or using blankets. I am crossing the line just by using the word blanket. And since I matter more than everyone else and their beleifs, I am going to impose my will on everyone else and call it political correctness because after all, having such offensively named holidays which offend just one person require that everyone honor my feelings.

And fuck that I don't have to visit your site and read your blog if I am offended. No, I am gonna keep visiting your offensive site and lobby the government to either have you shut down or require you censor yourself.

But I like you calling what everyone else calls Christmas Optionmas. That is okay. So I guess since I like that I won't lobby the government but watch yourself. I read your blog everyday.

Question about the picture:

Why were the native americans giving the pilgrams a bucket of feces?

Was that preemptive retribution for all the crap (PUN!) the pilgrams (and all the others after) did to them?

Roland would have understood.
