life in a postautomotive world

In the world of tomorrow, individual transportation (cars) will disappear as they become totally nonviable; with petroleum reserves depleted and population exploding, citiscapes will encroach upon every rural area on earth. Public transportation will rule the day, as huge alien ants descend from the skies and, surprisingly, rule with enlightened benevolence. That being said:



It's been a bad week for Prices.

And I was gonna head up to B'ham tomorrow. Sigh.

I am sorry for your loss. I know what it's like to lose a vehicle. But on the upside it didn't die inbetween Cali and Texas. Sometimes cars just die. Perhaps it's time to move to Seoul and ride the subway everwhere. Works for this kid. :)

That really blows. I think your situation is much worse than mine, for what it's worth. Postponing the trip up to B'ham for a while might be for the best anyway, as I'm kind of swamped. Summer's coming up, maybe you should buy a Vespa!
