know what's weird? when you come home at 11:30 at night, check your blogs and find out one of the ones you've been reading for the long haul suddenly features an obituary of its writer. even weirder, that it didn't even register five minutes earlier when i read about her partner's death on BoingBoing. both apparent suicides. how incredibly fucking weird.

I am curious: how does one come to discover this seemingly random blog? Is it one of those "one link leads to another" type deals where years of surfing have yielded such curios or is it something more specific? I would like to read the book featured on the left column regarding the hypothetical hegemonic state of U.S foreign policy.
yep, it was yet another link in the endless, infinitely recursive omnireferential & interconnected chain that is "reading the internet."
also, i'll keep an eye out for that book for ya.
