Marxadoodle

Hava's father visited a couple days ago, drove up from Seattle and kindly bought us lunch and had us escort him around the town. We took him to the area's best used-book store in the world, ever, Henderson's, followed by Mallard's for some ice cream and then, fulfilling an ancient prophecy, Stampadoodle. In the year and a half we've lived here I don't think I've once been able to drive past it without breaking into laughing fits. Stampadoodle!! Hehehehe. Anyway while we were inside Hava's Da gave me the gift of one of the most valued memories I'll take away from here: a funny little man surrounded by thousands of stamps and craft supplies asking the conservatively dressed (pink polo-shirt type) shopowner if he has a stamp of a hammer & sickle. Glorious!!

More later, must tend to buttermilk'd corn bread.
