the friendly "wood-ape"

There's Jenny & Megan being rogueish and rockin' out (respectively) in front of the grizzly bear with the guitar at the 'Squatch last Monday. Highlights included Michaels Showalter & Ian Black, Flight of the Conchords, and definitely & especially Rodrigo y Gabriela, whose fiery flamenco metal stylings were soul-snatchingly awesome. A good time was had by all. Except Dale, the uber-creepy waiter at Denny's, who actually rejoindered one of our party's sandwich order with the line: "Should I report a crime?" (The spot-on reply: an apathetic "No, that's okay.")

In other news, I'm zealously trying to get everyone to blog more/at all. Seem hypocritical? Feel free to blog about that.
